Cañalimón
is born from the need in our family for a form of personal care that is respectful of our skin and, at the same time, a desire for commitment to the environment, in a sustainable way for the planet but above all healthy for ourselves, free of substances that can be aggressive or cause allergies to the most sensitive and delicate skin.
As you know, our skin is a living organ that absorbs everything, all the cosmetics that we use reach our bloodstream in a matter of seconds, that is why it is so important that they are clean of foreign substances.
If we are concerned with what we eat, can weOr why don't we worry equally about what we feed our skin with?
That is why all our products are made entirely by hand and only with 100% natural raw materials from organic and local agriculture, free of aggressive substances for health such as silicones, parabens, aluminum, lead, artificial perfumes and many others. derivatives of oil that in certain proportions, in the long term could be problematic for health, being in additionaware of the planet, knowing that it is time to make much more responsible use of cosmetics in general than has been done until now.
That is why one of our main values is sustainability, with the aim of minimizing our environmental footprint as much as possible.
Our philosophy tells us that we do not have to pay more for an ecological product which is respectful with nature, but on the contrary, since of any cosmetic product we also pay for the packaging, most of the time useless and unnecessary, and that in much of the cases will be plastic that will end up in the sea. In addition, by using local product we save on transportation of supplies, and this allows us not to have to inflate the final price.
We believe that it would be fairer just to pay for the product itself, of higher quality and with a less elaborate and recyclable packaging, prioritizing what we really consider important.
With all this, the objective of our project is based on turning home cosmetics on a small scale, (just as our grandmothers have done throughout history with their recipes, full of medicinal plants for ancient use), into something accessible for those of us who want to benefit from natural cosmetics and all that it entails, (a higher concentration of 100% natural and therefore higher quality active ingredients), but adapted to the pace of life we lead today.
